This year, the Battery Park City School's National Junior Honor Society hosts the Run For Hope to benefit See Spot Rescued.  After years of helping improve the lives of New York's human inhabitants, the NJHS teams up with See Spot Rescued to benefit the lives of some four legged friends.  If you are interested in participating in this year's Run For Hope, please fill out the form linked here.
See you out there!

SCHOOL SURVEY TIME!! DUE THURS. APRIL 2!At this time only 21% of parents completed their survey. Last year, we were the lowest participation rate of downtown schools, at only 55%. The parent participation rate is factored into our overall school grade so please do your part by taking 5-10 minutes to fill it out. Only one survey per family attending PS/IS276 is required.

If you lost your survey please

call the Survey Hotline at 1-800-690-8603.  You can also access it online here.   Read more...

As of January 1, the NYCDOE will no longer use ARIS or ARIS Parent Link, and will create a new system to provide parents with online access to up-to-date student information (by September 2015). In the interim, the NYCDOE will provide parents with alternate ways of retrieving their students’ information. More information about the new system, and alternate methods to retrieve students’ information will be shared as soon as it's available.

If your child is traveling or out of school for more than 3 days please advise William Wilson in the main office or email your child’s itinerary to and advise your child’s teacher. This will not “excuse” your child’s absence but it will be marked as an “explained” absence. Please bring in a note if your child has seen a doctor or dentist as well.

You must bring your PHOTO ID if you are entering the school building.  The security guards are there to protect your child(ren) and keep the school safe. If you do not have an ID then you will need to return home to get it. No one will be allowed to enter the building without proper ID(credit/debit cards are not accepted).
