DOE NYC "MYSCHOOLS" ACCOUNT - (FOR SCHOOL/TEST APPLICATIONS)

PreK and K applicants do not need an Account Creation code. Rising 6th and 9th graders will need an Account Creation Code that is unique to your child and cannot be shared with others. If you have more than one students applying this year, you will get an Account Creation Code for each child.  Codes are provided in a letter sent home from the NYDOE or through the school administration.

Get started by following these steps:

1. Please visit the website www.myschools.nyc  select Get Started and follow the instructions
2. Check your email for a verification link. Click this link to access your account
3. Click "Add a Child"
4. Enter your child 9 digit student ID number. You can find this ID number by looking on your child's report card or by contacting their current school
5. For rising 6th and 9th graders, enter your Account Creation Code.
