ONGOING COMMITTEES:

276 Cares Committee – This committee creates opportunities for 276 students and families to participate in projects that are good for our community and our environment. Our monthly clothing and textile drives are a great way to give good clothes to people in need and to recycle clothing and textiles that are no longer usable. During last year’s City Harvest food drive, our 5th graders helped us to collect over 1500 items for hungry New Yorkers. Contact us to learn more about these and other rewarding projects. The more help we have, the more we can do! E-mail: 276Cares@bpcschool.org

Wellness Committee  The PS/IS 276 Wellness Committee is committed to supporting the school environment by promoting student wellness, nutrition education, and regular physical activity as part of our children’s learning experience.  We work with the School Chef to ensure nutritional options are available in the daily menu.  We also organize “Wellness Month,” 28 days of healthy family activities and events.  If you are committed to aiding the school environment through the development of the PS/IS 276 community’s health and well-being, then the Wellness Committee is for you! E-mail: Wellness@bpcschool.org

Fundraising Committee – Members of this committee will work on corporate fundraising, finding grant opportunities we can win, the direct appeal to PS/IS 276 families. Email: Fundraising@bpcschool.org
